TTT with TPWD

Due to the changes in deer habitat in South Texas, ranchers and land managers have many opportunities to help them control their numbers and increase the quality of deer on their land through the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department.

We participate in the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department’s TTT (Trap, Transport, and Transplant) Program when we have surplus does available. The permitting process can be daunting, but the result is rewarding when we are able to place our deer to improve the genetics of populations on other ranches.

Our ranch has been under an intensive deer management program since 1973 and has exceptional native whitetail deer.
