Hunting at the ranch is centered around maintaining the quality of the land and the experience.
We do not operate as a high-volume hunting operation, and we've chosen to keep things limited.
Most time on the ranch is reserved through long standing relationships.

The following reflects general hunting information and is used on a limited basis when availability allows.
Management/ Guides Choice 3 Day Base Fee: $3000 for up to 135” B&C Buck
Trophy 3 Day Hunt Base Fee: $4000 for a 145"+ B&C Class Buck
Both Base Fee Prices include a $1,500* non-refundable deposit that must be made at the time you confirm your reservation.
This base fee includes your deer, meals, and accommodations.
After base fee, the price increases by $300 per inch, up to 160", based on the size of the deer you harvest.
After 160" B&C, the price increases to $400 per inch based on the score of deer you harvest.
After 180" B&C Class Buck, the price increases to $500 per inch based on the B&C score of the deer you harvest.
*Drop tines will be billed an extra $200 per inch. This will only be added to total length of drop tine points. For example, if a deer is 155" with a 10" of drop tines, total cost would be $9,000. This price would cover the $7000 (cost of a 155" buck) and the additional $200 per inch drop tine fee, $2,000 ($200 X 10) and an overall cost of $9,000.
Each whitetail deer hunted on Hindes Ranch is priced according to the Gross Boone and Crockett Scale. To be consistent, the scoring of the harvested bucks will take place on the ranch, be compared to pricing sheet, and the price will be determined accordingly.

Hindes Ranch will do everything possible to recover wounded game in a reasonable matter. Tracking Dogs are available and will be used if needed. It is also the decision and discretion of the guide to terminate the recovery of a wounded animal at any time.

We make it easy to take your deer home with you as we provide refrigeration & cleaning services on site. We also offer caping out services at no additional cost.

At Hindes Ranch, we book our whitetail hunts according to the number of mature bucks we have available. By doing this, we are able to increase the kill rate percentage for each hunter and maintain our stock.
"They are great people and you will have a deer hunting experience that is fading in today’s world. Go experience it! You will always look back and be thankful you did."
- D. Richards, hunter and wildlife photographer

"I’ve been photographing and hunting the Hindes Ranch for over 25 years. The 17 bucks that I chronicled in my deer book, Observing & Evaluating Whitetails, are all Hindes bucks as are most of the 27 bucks in the judging on the hoof section.
Many of my covers on most of Texas hunting publications as well as Sports Afield and Peterson’s Hunting are all Hindes bucks. They have had many winning bucks over the years in the Los Cazadores and Muy Grande contests.
So much Texas deer hunting and management history took place on this ranch over the last half century. When I walk into their old hunting lodge the old photography and mounts draw me back into time of monster bucks and limb hanging gobblers.
The Hindes Ranch is an experience you'll always look back on and be thankful you did. "
